In this guide, we'll go through the process of Activating your TalkType license.
Upgrading from V2 to V3
If you are upgrading from V2 to V3, you will also need to Create an Account. This might be why you are not able to log into TalkType after upgrading.
To do this, you need to click on the button that reads "Activate License key". Now, your license key should have been saved to your laptop. If not, you should have been given it when you first received TalkType.
Then you will be asked to fill in some details such as your "Name", your "Email Address", and your "Password".
Make sure to accept our "Terms and Conditions".
By creating an account, you will no longer be required to request to reset your license key when reinstalling the software or installing the software on any new computer.
If you are prompted for your license key, please follow the steps to get your TalkType error logs and provide them to our Customer Support team, who will help you identify it.
Using TalkType V3 for the First Time
You would have been issued with a license key, which is a 16-digit key via email. The format will look like "XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX".
You must ensure that you have entered your license key correctly. Otherwise, you will not be able to register your account.
Your password must meet our minimum requirements of;
- At least 12 characters
- Contains a number
- Contains a special character
- Has a capital letter
