Can TalkType transcribe audio recordings?
TalkType Dictation software is designed for live dictation. It will take spoken audio, detected through a microphone and transcribe it to text, whilst also providing the ability to control your computer by voice.
TalkType is not designed to be used to give an accurate transcript of recorded media. If you would like to generate a transcript for recorded or even live media, we'd strongly recommend using the Caption.Ed application, Caption.Ed is specifically designed to provide this functionality.
